The superior internal design of the original AR Gold is the same. The flat version simply has a different shaped shoe for shooters who prefer flat triggers. Consistent, reliable and adjustable from 3 to 4-1/2lbs, this trigger features an ultra-short reset and was designed with the precision shooter in mind. Built from scratch, this trigger is unconventional in that unlike most triggers it was designed to work at a low pull weight that is preset at 3.5 lbs. This AR Gold Trigger Group is specifically designed for the AR-10/LR-308 platform. The hammer stands .025" taller in the cocked position than the 223 hammer, giving a higher "cocking line" and improving reliability. The hammer and sear are cut from S7 steel using wire EDM technology, and feature hardened engagement surfaces. The assembly is cut with a precision CNC machine and is hard anodized. This trigger is drop-in ready.
