22 Hornet ammo is a centerfire rifle cartridge commercially introduced by Winchester in 1930. It is good for varminting, small-game hunting, survival, and competitions. This ammo is better than 22 WMR and 17 HMR in terms of power and weight. It is manufactured by almost all popular manufacturers and is available in weights ranging from 35 grain to 55 grain.
