n keeping with the Beretta tradition, the new A300 Outlander is a soft-shooting gas-operated system semi-auto which combines the reliable Beretta bolt with falling block (locked breech) with an improved gas valve with a self-cleaning cylinder and piston, so that excess pressure caused by the most powerful cartridges .

The Beretta A300 Xtrema autoloader uses the proven Beretta self-cleaned gas piston system that is reliable with a wide range of loads from standard 2.75" target loads to heavy 3.5" magnums. It has a cold hammer-forged barrel with the Optima HP choke system, ensuring tight, dense and consistent patterns, even with steel shot. One of the best values of any 3.5" waterfowl gun in its class, the A300 Xtrema is customizable to the shooter, with a length of pull adjustment and drop/cast shims included.
