Charter Arms Bulldog Features

The Charter Arms Bulldog is a double-action revolver that was originally designed for discreet pocket carry back when gangsters wore suits.  With a 2.5 inch barrel and fixed sights, this revolver was built as a close-up defensive weapon that could be dropped into a pocket for discreet carry by anyone from small-framed women to hardened undercover police detectives.

Charter Arms Bulldog Capacity

The Bulldog is chambered for .38 Special and has a flip-out 6 round cylinder.

Charter Arms Bulldog Ergonomics

The Bulldog has a much smaller grip circumference than most modern pocket-carry revolvers and instead has a grip about the size of a Smith & Wesson Police Special model.  The front of the grip drops to a nearly vertical angle in order to maintain concealability and is tall enough to accommodate a full hand from most users.

Charter Arms Bulldog Fit & Finish

The older Bulldogs are made from carbon steel that is polished and blued to give it a beautiful glossy finish, however the new production models are made of stainless steel in order to eliminate any issues with rusting.

Charter Arms Bulldog Concealability

Whether you have an older or newer production Bulldog, you can easily drop it into your pocket or tuck it into a decent holster (we recommend using a holster for obvious safety reasons) and carry it unnoticed under most choices of attire.
