Henry All-Weather Features

The Henry All-Weather is a series of weather-resistant lever action rifles that are built on a Winchester 1895 action.  Both have 18 inch barrels topped with elevation-adjustable sights and have frames that are drilled and tapped to accept an optics rail.  Regardless of the stock choice used for the build, the buttpads are made of a semi-soft rubber to help absorb some of the recoil.

Henry All-Weather Capacity

The Henry All-Weather is available in .30-30 Winchester and .45-70 Government and feeds from a fixed 5 round magazine tube.  Uniquely, the magazine can be fed by removing the brass magazine rod and dropping rounds through the bullet-shaped cutout in front of the handguard, or it can be loaded through the side loading gate on the right side of the frame.

With an overall length of 37.5 or 39 inches (depending on the caliber) and an unloaded weight of 7 pounds, the Henry All-Weather can easily be carried out on a deer hunt through thick brush with the same amount of ease as any other lever action with a 20 inch barrel.  The big advantage with this gun comes in its resistance to water, humidity and moisture.

Henry All-Weather Ergonomics

Ergonomics
The Henry All-Weather is available with a straight-grip stock or a half-pistol Monte-Carlo style stock and can be built with either standard-sized or large-loop levers.  Aside from that, the handling and controls are the same with a single-action hammer and 6 pound trigger.  The front handguard is geometrically identical to the original 1895 rifle, however it has no checkering.

Henry All-Weather Fit & Finish

The Henry All-Weather takes full advantage of scientific improvements in weather resistance and places it into a classic, beloved design that is made with incredible craftsmanship.  These rifles have polished and honed contacting surfaces for a smooth action and have steel parts that are bead blasted for a matte finish.  The stock and forend, whether they’re made of composite or laminate wood, are sealed against the elements to ensure they won’t be damaged.
