Henry Long Ranger Features

The Henry Long Ranger is a lever-action rifle that incorporates classic ergonomics with modern mechanics and calibers.  They are built with a 20 or 22 inch barrel depending on the model and can come with iron sights on the barrel or an uninterrupted profile, and the receivers are drilled and tapped to accept an optics rail.  Outside of reloading, these rifles deliver full-power caliber energy down range in a timeless platform.

Henry Long Ranger Capacity

The Henry Long Ranger is available in .223 Remington / 5.56x45mm NATO, .243 Winchester, 6.5 Creedmoor and .308 Winchester (7.62 Full NATO).  In .223/5.56, the rifle has a 5 round magazine while the man calibers offer a 4 round magazine.  Due to these calibers being pointy boys, this rifle is designed with a double-stack detachable box magazine so the recoil doesn’t slam the bullet tips into the primers causing your hand to get deleted.
The Long Ranger measures 40.5 inches long and has an unloaded weight of 7 pounds making it fractionally lighter than your typical deer rifle by at least a full pound.   As it measures a few inches shorter than normal on top of that, this rifle is far easier to carry through the woods over long distances and through terrain that is just as thick.  A really big advantage of this gun is in its reload time as the gun can get a new mag slapped in it about as fast as an AR10.

Henry Long Ranger Ergonomics

Ergonomics
For no good reason at all, the Henry Long Ranger is not available with a large loop lever.  Get on it, Henry.  This gun copies the handling, balance and feel of the Model 1895 and includes a straight-grip stock with a deep checkering on the grip and forend.  A rubber butt pad sits at the back of the stock in order to soften the blow from the recoil of the full-power deer cartridges.

Henry Long Ranger Fit & Finish

The Henry Long Ranger is built with blued steel parts for its receiver, trigger group, lever and barrel and has a stainless steel bolt assembly.  The carbon steel parts are blued to provide a classic look as well as add rust prevention as bluing can retain surface oil.  The stocks are made of American Walnut and are sanded smooth and sealed with a semi-gloss clear coat.
