It's always a welcome surprise when the government does their job.
Recently, a man filing for a CCW permit in New York City had his application denied because he couldn't articulate "proper cause". After filing an appeal, a New York City judge cited the recent NYSRPA v Bruin case and stated that New York State's proper cause requirement is unconstitutional, and the applicant was granted a CCW permit.
