Insight Into UPS' Alleged Package Destruction

The United Parcel Service (UPS) has been accused of cancelling accounts with firearms companies and destroying shipments of gun parts, but is there any truth to these claims?
We asked a UPS employee, who will remain unnamed, working at the corporate level for any insight into the matter, and we were told he "[hasn't] seen anything internal to support it, and [we're] fairly certain we would not get into the business of destroying stuff."  More conversation led to a discussion about UPS' shipment of tobacco that led to a $247,000,000 fine back in 2017, and how UPS no longer delivers tobacco and "vape" online sales.  "[There's] too many regulations and homework / record keeping to do on deliveries and UPS said 'no thanks'."
With the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF, alt AFT) making new rules out of thin air, it makes sense that UPS is paving their own way towards avoiding legal trouble in the future so they can continue to operate.
