Charles Daly PAK-9 Features

The Charles Daly PAK-9 is a semi-automatic AKM style pistol that operates on a direct blowback action.  Gone are the outdated and obsolete iron sights of the AK in exchange for Picatinny rails that allow you to mount iron sights and dot optics to get a better sight radius to get the most out of the 6.3 inch barrel.

Charles Daly PAK-9 Capacity

The PAK-9 is chambered in 9x19mm Parbellum (9mm Luger) as the name would imply.  With the use of the correct adapter, this gun can be set up to use 10 and 15 round Beretta 92 magazines or can be set up to accept the 10 round Glock 26 mags, the 15 rounders from the Glock 19, the 17 from the 17, or the 32 round stick mags.
Measuring 14.25 inches long with an unloaded weight of 6 pounds, the PAK-9 only really excels at short ranges.  The lack of a stock or stabilizing brace (thanks a lot, ATF) makes it more of a point-and-shoot sort of gun that is awkward to effectively aim without the use of a sling and a lot of practice.

Charles Daly PAK-9 Ergonomics

Ergonomics
The PAK-9 is what you get when someone tells you they want an AK pistol in 9mm but doesn’t want to use standard parts.  The trigger housing is molded into the polymer grip and the front end is made of plastic which gives you a wider, better stabilization surface.  The magazine release is much smaller than a standard AK, but the rest of the controls are in the same spot.

Charles Daly PAK-9 Fit & Finish

A lot of the components on the outside of the PAK-9 are made of injection-molded polymer made of a blend that is very resistant to heat deformation.  The receiver is made of stamped steel like a proper AK, and the rear trunnion is drilled and tapped to accept a stock adapter in the event you decide to Form-1 the gun into an SBR.
