FN P90 Features

The FN PS90 is a select-fire Personal Defense Weapon (PDW) chambered in 5.7x28mm and has a standard magazine capacity of 50 rounds.  The top-loaded magazine ensures a small overall size and allows for bottom-ejection of spent cases.  A short optics rail allows for the addition of most holographic sights and its 10.3” barrel allows for a high enough muzzle velocity to defeat Level-II soft armor with FMJ ammo.

FN P90 Capacity

The FN P90 is chambered in 5.7x28mm and has a very unique magazine.  With capacities of 10, 30, and 50 rounds, the PS90’s magazine is loaded from the under-side one round at a time and the rounds are rotated 90 degrees on an internal magazine ramp system, laying them perpendicular to the bore axis.
The P90 weighs 5.8 pounds unloaded and measures 19.88 inches long.  Its light weight reduces the amount of fatigue caused by carrying heavier guns over long distances, and its short length allow it to excel in close-quarters environments.

FN P90 Ergonomics

Ergonomics
The P90 is a bullpup rifle with ambidextrous controls including the disc-safety and charging handles.  Its magazine is removed just as easily by left and right handed users, and its bottom-ejecting design allows for easy use by both as well.  The bullpup setup gives a rather comfortable and natural grip and the frame’s shell includes a hand-stop to prevent the user’s hand from getting near the barrel.

FN P90 Fit & Finish

The FN P90 definitely looks unique, and possibly just weird, thanks to its bullpup design and heavy use of polymers.  Though its exposed screw holes are a bit of an eyesore, the overall feel of the gun makes up for it.  The grips are comfortably placed, the plastic shell is very sturdy, its recoil is light, and its trigger is surprisingly nice for a bullpup.
