The Ruger® LC9s® Semi-Auto Pistol is a simple and instinctive pistol which utilizes a striker-fired mechanism with a short, light trigger pull. An integrated trigger safety and a manual thumb safety offer intuitive manipulation for safe handling, while a magazine disconnect and a loaded chamber indicator offer additional safety features, nearly eliminating the risk of an accidental discharge. The pistol's frame is constructed with glass-filled nylon with an aluminum insert, and the grip is checkered for a solid, non-slip hold and improved control. The slide is made from hardened alloy steel and boasts a slim, sleek profile for deep concealment. HiViz® fiber-optic sights deliver rapid, intuitive target acquisition in virtually any lighting. The lightweight, compact design of the Ruger LC9s and its superior reliability make it an ideal semi-auto pistol for concealed-carry. The Ruger LC9s uses all existing LC9® accessories including lasers, holsters, and extended 9-round magazines. Made in USA.

Ruger LC9 Capacity

The Ruger LC9 uses a single-stack, flush-fit magazine that holds 6 rounds.  Aftermarket magazine manufacturers also offer a 9-round magazine with the use of a magazine extension.

Ruger LC9 Ergonomics

Ergonomics
The Ruger LC9 has very small control surfaces.  Its safety, slide lock and magazine release are all as small as they can be in an effort to keep the gun concealable.  Its recoil spring is relatively heavy compared to other pistols, as is its double-action trigger pull.  The contours along the grip allow for a rather comfortable feel in the hand.

Ruger LC9 Fit & Finish

The Ruger LC9 is available in plenty of different color schemes.  Slides can be found in black or stainless steel or colored to match the frame, and the frames can be almost any color thanks to polymer technology.

Fit and Finish

Ruger LC9 Concealability

Concealability
Measuring 6 inches long with a height of 4.5 inches, the LC9 is incredibly easy to conceal.  With its width less than 1 inch, this pistol easily goes unnoticed under most attire.  Its overall lack of sharp edges prevents discomfort when carrying.
