The SR9c compact pistol weighs in at 23.40 oz. and features an overall length of 6.85", a height of 4.61", and the same slim 1.27" grip width (across safety levers) as the full-sized SR9. The 3.50" barreled pistol features an integral accessory rail that accommodates most lights and lasers. The SR9c compact pistol utilizes the same adjustable, high-visibility 3-Dot sight system as its full-sized predecessor, setting it apart from many compact pistols that rely on fixed sights. New serrations are located on the front portion of the slide, making it easier to both manipulate the slide and to press check the chamber. The SR9c is available with a glass-filled nylon frame and through-hardened slide in either a brushed stainless or black nitride finish. Just like the original, full-sized SR9, the SR9c is loaded with modern safety features like a 1911-style ambidextrous manual safety, internal trigger bar interlock and striker blocker, trigger safety, magazine disconnect, plus a visual and tactile loaded chamber indicator. Specifications: Weight: 23.4oz # of Mags: 2 ( 1 10 round and 1 17)

Ruger SR9C Capacity

Shipped with 10 round magazines, the Ruger SR9C standard magazines can be found with flush-fit or extended floor plates, the latter allowing the user to get a full grip on the pistol.  The SR9C is capable of accepting any Ruger SR9 magazine, allowing additional capacities of 17 and even 32 rounds.

Ruger SR9C Ergonomics

The Ruger SR9C features both front and rear slide serrations to assist the user in manipulating the slide with multiple grip choices.  The polymer frame offers effective grip texturing that isn’t uncomfortable when carrying concealed.  The windage-adjustable 3-dot factory sights offer a very intuitive sighting system that remains visible in low-light conditions.

Ruger SR9C Fit & Finish

The Ruger SR9C features every bit of Ruger’s excellent build quality.  All of the machined surfaces are free of tool marks and the polymer frame is free of any overpress defects.  The slide runs as smoothly as any other quality striker-fired pistol on the market, and the contours of the gun assist in an unhindered draw.

Fit and Finish

Ruger SR9C Concealability

The Ruger SR9C features a short grip height with an overall length just under 7 inches, making this a very easy pistol to conceal.  The tapering of the rear of the slide and the angles cut along the rear of the sights prevent clothing from blocking your draw.
