Eldridge, I would recommend going with the 9mm pistol. This is due to better ballistics, better ammo selection, only slightly larger pistol and will serve any role the 380 can then some when it comes to life or limb.

Yes it is on the CA Approved Roster Dominic. It happens to be the 1st Kahr on the list : oag.ca.gov/firearms/certguns?make=Kahr+Arms
