It's actually awesome how they rotate the rounds. The magazine goes from double-stack to single-feed about 7 or 8 rounds from the top, and then the rounds rotate in the magazine before hitting the feed lips. They're rotated between the 2nd and 3rd rounds in the magazine, and they rotate along a track that's kinda like one of those spiral slides you see at a playground. the staticky ones.
