That's easy to do. You will need a hammer and a 1/8" punch (or small flathead screwdriver). Knock the pin out and slide the charging handle forward gently until it stops. Then, put the punch through the other side and push the wire spring in the charging handle in as you push the charging handle forward. Insert the handle into the other charging handle groove and use the 1/8" punch to assist re-insertion.
