Trigger not resetting?

My trigger doesn't always reset. I've replaced every part with new factory parts except for the frame and slide, and it still doesn't reset half of the time. I've adjusted that candy cane looking piece to hit the striker block to its proper spot but it still doesn't reset. I've cleaned out the sear block and tried every type of oil and I've run it dry but the striker doesn't reset half of the time. I know it has to be something to do with the sear block assembly at the back of the frame or with the striker. None of the parts are broken or show any signs of wear, and I've sent it to S&W and had two different gunsmiths look at it. Has this happened to anyone else? Does anyone know what is causing it?
